The Retired Educators of Freeborn Country will host its fall meeting and lunch at the American Legion at noon Sept. 8. 

Jim Wichmann, a man with many hats at the Albert Lea Seed House,  will talk about the company’s recent venture with the  solar energy project which is visible from U.S. Highway  13 off Main Street.

All retired educators are welcomed to the group, but especially the newly retired educators. 

ALAREAM  exists to provide information  about pensions, health, and safety in addition to providing social connections with former colleagues which is important to retirees.

All retired school personnel are welcome.  Reservations are needed.
