The Cannon Valley Civil War Roundtable will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Faribault Senior Center, 19 W. Division Street in Faribault.

The meeting will signify the kick-off banquet for the beginning of the group’s 12th year. John Guthmann and Jim Moffet, with their fife and drum corps, will present the program. They have performed nationally for over 30 years. They will be in their authentic uniforms and use authentic instruments.

Reservations for the meal are required. The menu will be pulled pork, buttered carrots, cheesy potatoes and more. The meal will cost $12. It is open to the public for a fee of $3 starting at 7 p.m.
