Stealing signs is silencing right to free speech

I have recently learned that our candidates signs are being stolen.
This country was founded on the principle of freedom. Freedom of speech is one of the freedoms that each of us hold dear. Any one of us would be outraged if that right were suddenly revoked.
But this is exactly what is happening to our current political candidates. It is their right to inform us of their candidacy through the use of signage — signage that is paid for by campaign funds that were donated by their supporters. No matter who wins, we are all constituents of our elected officials.
It is not a show of support to take your opponent’s signs. It is theft of property and it is silencing someone else’s right to free speech — someone, who if elected, will represent us in our government.
Please be worthy of your rights and stop stealing signs.
