1 arrested for drug possession

Albert Lea police arrested Alphonso Dale Cotto, 36, for fifth-degree drug possession after a burglary in progress was reported at 4 a.m. Thursday at 401 Pilot St. Police cited Donovan Chad Duenow, 22, for false information.

4 arrested on warrants

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Ezra David Ayala, 26, on a Ramsey County warrant during a traffic stop at 1:49 a.m. today at the intersection of Fountain Street and East Main Street. Deputies cited Kiya Marie Giddings, 24, for driving after suspension and no proof of insurance at the scene.

One person was reported taken into custody on warrants from McLeod and Chippewa counties at 7:01 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Police arrested Rio Santiago Acosta, 19, on a local warrant at 1:09 a.m. today at 104 S. Ermina Ave.

Kristyn Sue Fredrickson, 35, turned herself in on a local warrant at 3:18 a.m. today at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

1 arrested after violation reported

Police arrested Daniel Michael Fischer, 20, after a probation violation was reported at 3:14 p.m. Thursday at 1813 Bellview Lane.

2 cited for violations

Police cited Christopher A. Rock, 33 for trespassing and disorderly conduct after disorderly conduct was reported at 8:39 p.m. Thursday at 820 Happy Trails Lane. Rock was held for bail.

Theft by fraud reported

Theft by fraud was reported at 11:54 a.m. Thursday at 1010 W. Clark St.

Tools stolen

A trailer was reported broken into and tools stolen at 12:20 p.m. Thursday at 2200 Riverland Drive.
