The Albert Lea girls’ tennis team traveled to Lakeville North for sections Tuesday.

Inclement weather forced the match indoors, but it didn’t seem to help the Tigers much, as they were able to win just five games during the match.

“We played very well, but we were just outmatched,” said Tigers coach Chris Withers. “Our girls have nothing to be ashamed of, all positions played really hard and with great enthusiasm for their entire match. I am proud of them for their willingness and want to continue to improve.”

Individual sections will take place at the Fred Wells Tennis Center in St. Paul Oct. 13.
