Details released in fire that destroyed house

The fire that destroyed a house on Stevens Street in Albert Lea Thursday night reportedly started in a room in the back of the house, according to the Albert Lea Fire Department.
How the fire began has still not been determined and remains under investigation, according to Fire Department officials.
One cat in the house at the time of the fire was found alive, while another was found deceased, officials stated. A third cat has still not been found.
Dispatchers received two calls about the fire shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday, after which Albert Lea firefighters responded to the scene. Flames billowed through the roof in the back of the house when firefighters arrived.
Fire Department officials previously stated no one was living there at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.
