The city of Albert Lea Fire and Inspections Department will be continuing inspections of flood damaged properties. The inspection department will begin contacting those who have signed up with Freeborn County. Residents who feel they need an inspection should contact Jody Larson at (507) 373-3965 or jody.larson@co.freeborn.mn.us. Callers will be asked to provide his/her name, address, phone number, number of occupants in the home, what was damaged, how it was damaged and the approximate value. The information will be used to aid Freeborn County in assessing the individual damages that were incurred by flooding. The city fire and inspections department will then contact residents.
