Dear People of House District 27A,

I have no doubt that Peggy Bennett is a nice lady, but she is also highly partisan and thoughtless. You need not take my word for it. I recommend that you go to your computer web browser and type these words: Peggy Bennett top 10 list.

You will find a website with a recording of Peggy at a Republican picnic where she goes into a Republican partisan rant in which she attempts to denigrate Democrats. The recording is of poor quality, but a transcript is provided. Why would any Democrat support someone who speaks and thinks so disparagingly of them?

One statement deserves particular attention. Offering reasons why she theoretically would vote Democrat, she alludes to laws that now allow same sex people to marry. She states, “I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I can even marry my German shepherd.” Does she realize that she is equating same sex people in loving relationships with persons who commit acts with animals? I hope she got a lot of laughs.

Peggy is not the type of person who should represent us in the state Legislature. She is a weak and ineffective representative. We need Gary Schindler as our state representative.
