I am writing this letter of support for Gary Schindler, and this is the list of 10 top reasons:

• He is a good guy, always helpful and friendly and smiling and dependable.

• He is a strong, honest, Christian man.

• He is smart — he’s a former teacher, counselor, financial aid director. Now he is dean of students at Riverland.

• He is very well-informed, whether he is teaching the adult forum class at Grace Church or giving a lecture at the museum, etc.

• He is a good family man and a hard worker.

• He and his wife, Jeanne, are very active in the community. It takes a village.

• He volunteers to help others a lot.

• He is patriotic, ready to go to work for Minnesota citizens with funding for students pre-K through 12th grade and affordable college education.

• He is for a transportation plan, helping local government aid increase and getting workforce housing in our towns.

• Nobody else can be a live character from the old “Andy Griffin” TV shows like Gary can play Briscoe Darling. It is so fun to hear him tell about that series. Who else in government is an expert on that topic? He goes to their reunions and participates.

Gary Schindler is just the kind of person we need representing us. He ran a clean campaign with no negative things against his opponent.
