New county attorney sworn in

David Walker was sworn in as the new Freeborn County attorney on Saturday at the Freeborn County Government Center. Freeborn County Auditor Treasurer Pat Martinson administered the oath of office in a brief ceremony on the first day that the appointment became effective. Walker was appointed by the Freeborn County Board to fill the vacancy left by Craig Nelson upon his retirement mid-term on Sept. 30. -Provided
