Vehicle shot
A report of a vehicle being shot with a pellet gun was made at 9:14 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 35, near the Geneva exit. A vehicle described as a 4X4 truck with a large light bar reportedly blinded the alleged victim. The vehicle reportedly headed north on Interstate 35. Steele County was notified.
1 arrested for drunken driving
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brian Allen Mellang, 33, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 4:17 a.m. today at the intersection of 745th Avenue and 150th Street, outside Glenville.
2 arrested on warrants
Albert Lea police arrested Derrick Deon Butler, 22, on warrants from Anoka, Ramsey and Hennepin County after disorderly conduct was reported at 12:30 a.m. today at 928 W. Front St.
Bradley Douglas Thompson, 46, turned himself in on a warrant at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Deputies cited Danny James Morgan, 62, for disorderly conduct at 6:03 a.m. today at 121 S.E. Seventh St., Glenville.
Car strikes school bus
No injuries were reported after a car struck a school bus at 3:26 p.m. Monday at the intersection of East Main Street and South Newton Avenue. The car reportedly ran a red light before striking the bus. Children on the bus were moved to another bus.
