1 arrested for drug violations
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Lance J. Walters, 30, for driving after suspension, misdemeanor marijuana in a motor vehicle, fifth-degree meth possession and fifth-degree cocaine possession during a traffic stop at 4:16 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of East Front Street and South Newton Ave. Walters was also arrested on a Dodge County warrant.
2 arrested for domestic assault
Albert Lea police arrested Jacqueline Kaye Clack, 46, for domestic assault at 9:36 a.m. Friday at 1027 S. Newton Ave.
Police arrested Alipio Santiago Veitia, 50, for a felony domestic abuse no-contact order violation and gross misdemeanor domestic assault at 6:46 p.m. Sunday at 606 Water St.
1 arrested after foot pursuit
Police arrested Steven Moreno on a local warrant, fleeing on foot and fifth-degree drug possession after a foot pursuit was reported at 4:07 p.m. Friday at 116 S. Washington Ave.
2 arrested on warrants
Police arrested Michael Ray Sanders Jr., 43, on a local warrant after a fight was reported at 11:14 a.m. Saturday at 221 E. Clark St.
Police arrested Stacy Jo Erdner, 25, on a warrant at 9:28 p.m. Saturday at 304 E. 11th St.
1 arrested for theft
Police arrested Jasmine Justina Schmidt, 30, for misdemeanor theft at 3:50 p.m. Friday at 1550 Blake Ave. Schmidt was brought to jail, cited and released.
2 cited on traffic stop
Police cited Jesse Ray Gilbertson, 27, for possessing a small amount of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia and Alec John Edwards, 18, for having no Minnesota driver’s license during a traffic stop at 8:08 p.m. Friday near the intersection of East Main Street and Morningside Road.
Items stolen
Two DeWalt racket boxes each valued at $139 were reported stolen at 1:48 p.m. Saturday at 1721 W. Main St. Two men were identified as suspects.
A 14-foot boat and a trailer were reported missing from a residence at 10:45 p.m. Friday at 77281 170th St., outside Albert Lea.
A theft of a deer blind was reported at 11:32 a.m. Friday on Freeborn County Road 5 in southwest Glenville.
A backpack was reported stolen at 4:27 p.m. Saturday at 416 Bridge Ave. The backpack was later found.
Cards from a wallet stolen a couple of months ago were reported used at 2:24 p.m. Sunday at 818 Jefferson Ave.
Fraud reported
Someone reported being scammed out of $950 at 9:13 a.m. Friday at 608 S. Washington Ave.
Two forged checks were reported passed at 6 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway.
Sex crime with a child victim reported
A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 10:58 a.m. Saturday in Albert Lea. The incident allegedly occurred a few months ago.
