2 arrested after stolen vehicle found
Albert Lea police arrested Ryne Daniel Gohl, 23, and Jacob John Plotnik, 18, during a traffic stop at 12:27 a.m. today at the intersection of Interstate 35 and U.S. Highway 65. Gohl and Plotnik were reportedly found in a vehicle stolen from Franklin County, Iowa. Gohl was arrested for felony receiving stolen property, driving after revocation, speeding and having no driver’s license.
Plotnik was arrested for receiving stolen property.
1 arrested for domestic assault
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested J.D. Stout for domestic assault and terroristic threats after an incident was reported at 11:57 a.m. Friday at 201 S. Central Ave. in Hollandale.
1 arrested for drunken driving
Albert Lea police arrested Alejandro Reyes-Zuniga, 50, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 3:40 a.m. Saturday on the 400 block of College Street.
1 arrested for warrant
Nicholas David McPherson, 31, turned himself in on a warrant at 4:53 a.m. today at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
2 arrested for violations
Police arrested Mario Daniel Duenes, 34, on an apprehension and detention order after an intoxicated person was reported at 2:03 p.m. Friday at 129 Elizabeth Ave.
Deputies arrested Nyariri Kong Thor, 22, on an apprehension and detention order at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and 830th Avenue.
6 cited for disorderly conduct
Police reported cited six juveniles for disorderly conduct after five children with bats chased one juvenile at 6:56 p.m. Friday at 404 Fountain St.
1 cited for assault
Deputies cited a juvenile for fifth-degree assault after an assault was reported at 8:48 p.m. Sunday at 80880 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Albert Lea.
Break-in reported
A break-in was reported at 2:18 p.m. Friday at 81027 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Hayward. It was unknown if any items were missing.
