1. “A Family Reunion to Die For”

Alden-Conger School’s drama department will present “A Family Reunion to Die For” three times throughout the weekend.

A murder mystery, the play starts off at the Knotting family reunion. Newlywed Christine Frank is eager to show off her husband, Freddie, to the family she hasn’t seen in years.

The joyful reunion quickly turns sour when three of the family members are murdered. To make matters worse, a storm has trapped all the guests inside. It’s up to Freddie, a mall security guard and detective hopeful, to catch the murderer and save his bride.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. Alden-Conger activity passes and activity punch cards are accepted.

2. Hollandale Christian School fall supper

Hollandale Christian School will host its annual fall supper fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the school, 203 Central Ave. S. in Hollandale.

Donations will be accepted.

Menu includes ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, carrots, cooked apples, salad, buns and desserts.

3. Holiday Bazaar

United Methodist Church will host Holiday Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 702 S. U.S. Highway 69. There will be vendors, crafters, a bake sale and a holiday cafe. Proceeds go to benefit the Albert Lea United Methodist youth mission trip.

4. Time and Talent Bazaar

Ascension Lutheran Church, 1101 S. U.S. Highway 69, will host the Time and Talent Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

There will be crafts, cookbooks, cards, a bake sale and lefse.

Morning coffee will be from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Lunch will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

5. Ruby’s Pantry

Ruby’s Pantry will be open from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at 1540 South Shore Drive, Albert Lea.

Participants are asked to bring $20 in exchange for an abundance of food.
