A truck was reported on fire in a cornfield at 2:40 p.m. Friday on 750th Avenue, one mile from Freeborn County Road 5.

A cornfield fire was reported at 2:55 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 760th Avenue and 283rd Street outside Clarks Grove.

A combine was reported on fire at 3:54 p.m. Sunday at 22569 820th Ave. outside Hayward.

Burglaries reported

A house break-in was reported at 1:19 p.m. Sunday at 20246 880th Ave. outside Oakland. A television, shotgun and other items were reported missing.

A gun cabinet was reported open and guns taken out and laid out on a chair at 3:58 a.m. Saturday at 85135 S. Island Circle, Hollandale. No items were reported missing, and no signs of forced entry were reported.

1 arrested for domestic assault

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Gary Curtis Walstrom, 69, for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 7:08 p.m. Sunday at 21173 810th Ave. outside Hayward.

1 arrested on warrant

Deputies arrested Shepperd Lawrence Robins-Priestley, 24, on a local warrant, warrants from Lyon and Wabasha County and misdemeanor giving a false name to law enforcement at 8:25 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Interstate 35 and Interstate 90.

1 privately transported after crash

One person was reported privately transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a crash was reported at 7:36 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and West Main Street.

2 cited for theft

Albert Lea police cited Melissa Eva Sierra, 20, and a juvenile for theft after a theft was reported at 2:02 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

1 cited for criminal damage

Police cited a juvenile for criminal fourth-degree criminal damage to property at 3:39 p.m. Thursday.

Purse stolen

A purse was reported stolen at 5:10 p.m. Saturday at 422 S. Independence Ave., Clarks Grove.
