Local fireman receives training at Camp Ripley

Albert Lea Fire Department Lt. Dennis Glassel was one of 14 firefighters from different fire departments who recently completed a leadership course at Camp Ripley that will help them address unique fire service leadership issues like personal leadership strengths, human resources, marketing and financial challenges.
The Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education provided the free fire service leadership development course, which brought together fire service leaders together from across the state for four weekends.
