I warmed to Trump slowly. First I did not feel he was serious, then I doubted his qualifications. Later, I questioned his temperament; finally I realized he was the most qualified person to lead this country, but I didn’t think he could win. Against all odds, Trump has proven he is a winner. You may not like him but, he is the right man at the right time. America does not need another politically correct milquetoast.

Anyone who believes this country is on the right track, needs to look at the problems the world faces today. Actions taken by our leaders, over the past 16-plus years, are largely responsible for the deadly turmoil in the world today. Both Bush and Clinton must share some of the responsibility for the world’s current conditions.

The key issue in this campaign should be the Supreme Court. Whoever is elected will nominate a number of Supreme Court justices — enough to tilt the court to a far left activist liberal court for a generation. Even if Trump, as president, were a disaster, the country would survive. However, if young, Constitution-shredding liberal justices are appointed, which Hillary has vowed to do, the America we know will never be the same. Liberal or conservative, if you believe in the sanctity of the Constitution and love America, this is the most important issue in this election.

It’s time we elected a real businessman president — one who is not owned by the Washington establishment and corporate America; someone who understands how business functions and how to negotiate the best deals, and someone who can bring projects in on time and under budget.

I have listened to Trump’s policy speeches and support most proposals he has made. He is not a dreamer, but a doer, a man that understands this country’s problems and how to fix them. Hillary’s proposal to raise taxes on the wealthy and corporations will only result in more businesses moving overseas. You cannot tax yourself to prosperity. The only solution is lower taxes and fewer regulations resulting in more jobs.

Trump did not build his empire by luck. It took vision, hard work and boldness. He nearly went broke several times, but through negotiation, restructuring, determination and hard work he came back stronger and better than ever. He does not give up when things get tough. He’s brash, bold and blunt with a huge ego. Maybe it’s time for a president with those qualities.

Trump recruits the best people for his businesses and listens to them.

Trump raised an extraordinary family. It’s exceedingly rare that the third generation of the wealthy and privileged class has the work ethic, common sense, vision, compassion, drive and love of country that his family has displayed. There is no greater way to judge a man, than by the family he has raised.

There is no doubt in my mind that Trump loves America and will do everything in his power to “make America great again.”
