This past year has been extremely difficult for law enforcement officers across the United States. These are dedicated and honorable individuals who are deserving of our respect and thanks. They are mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins. They are our neighbors and friends.

They are with us in our communities every day to protect us. Because of their dedication and service, we are safe. Please include these individuals in your thoughts this week and honor them by thanking them for their service. You can also show your thanks by putting a blue blub in your porch light.
