Students rewarded during Fire Safety Week

What;s better than a shiny, new fire truck? One that has a working siren! To the joy of St. Casimir’s School students Paul Romano, Ashtin Seedorf, Julianna Clore and Aaron Pichardo, this is exactly what they received when local firefighters Shawn Olson, Saxon Warmka and Josh Ignaszweski from the Wells and Easton fire departments visited the school in Wells. The trucks were given as prizes for the students’ artistic efforts in the department’s recent coloring contest for Fire Prevention Week, according to a pres release. While the children were thrilled to receive the trucks, it is to be hoped that their parents will be equally pleased with the loud addition to their household! The school wished congratulations to the students and thank you to the Wells and Easton fire departments.- Provided
