Becker reported that a semi was turning off of westbound East Main Street onto southbound Prospect Avenue and waved her across. The Focus reportedly failed to yield the right of way, and the Malibu struck the Focus as it crossed East Main Street.

Miller was a front passenger of the Malibu.

The crash was reported at 12:22 p.m.
