The Northwood-Kensett boys’ basketball team had a hard time putting the ball in the basket Saturday night against Bishop Garrigan.

B-G’s defense held Northwood-Kensett to 9-52 from the field, including 4-21 from three-pointer range, in a 64-34 loss.

Tom Fick was the only Viking in double-figures, but he struggled to score 13 points. He finished 4-18 from the field. He added 10 rebounds.

The Vikings didn’t have a quarter where they scored double-digits in points until the fourth quarter when they scored 14 points. Until that point, the Vikings had quarters of 8, 4 and 8.

Northwood-Kensett will be on the road Tuesday against West Fork.
