After opening the season with a loss, the NRHEG girls’ basketball team rattled off three straight wins. The Panthers were looking to make it four Tuesday night against Medford.
Thanks to 19 points from Maddie Wagner, 11 from Marnie Wagner and 10 from Betsy Schoenrock, NRHEG dispatched Medford, 66-34.
“We hopped out to a big lead in the first half and were lucky to keep it the whole game,” Panthers coach Onika Peterson said. “We have some areas in our game that we need to tweak. Thankfully our next game isn’t for a little while.”
NRHEG will be off until Dec. 22, when it will host Mankato Loyola.
“It is time to get back to the basics,” Peterson said.
