Principal’s Corner by Diane Schultz
Diane Schultz is the principal of Sibley Elementary School.
I want to begin by wishing all our families a happy holiday season. I am so grateful I get to be here to spend time with your child/children on a daily basis. Seeing their smiling faces is a highlight of my day. Ensuring student success is our top priority.
Sibley Elementary takes pride in putting our students first in our decisions. When decisions are made, the first question we ask is, “Is this what is best for students?”
This year our staff has spent time creating a mission and vision for Sibley Elementary. Our next steps in this process are looking at the values and commitments we will have in order to live the
mission and vision. We believe these statements need to come alive in order to provide the best
educational experiences for our students. I have included our mission and vision below.
Sibley Elementary mission
We will develop the maximum potential of the whole learner by creating a school environment that nurtures life-long academic, emotional and social growth.
Sibley Elementary vision
Growing together; every learner, every day.
This process is important for the direction we go as a school to ensure success for all. This process has been a shared effort with all staff. We have also been seeking information from parents through our PTO meetings.
As always, contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.
