The Beyond the Yellow Ribbon of Albert Lea would like to thank our sponsors: Union Center, ISC Financial Advisors, Hy-Vee, Thrivent, Cargill, David and Susan Olsen, Emmons American Legion Post 317, Freeborn-Mower Operation Round Up, Albert Lea Monument, Hagen Trucking Service, the American Legion Riders chapter 56, the Legion Auxiliary and the VA Clinic. Your financial donations enabled us to reach our goal of putting together a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon concession trailer. This trailer gives us visibility and enables us to put on the Freedom Festival on July 3 every year.

Along with the concession trailer, we were able to help and recognize many of our military-connected families in our area. This year Beyond the Yellow Ribbon helped out a veteran’s widow with car issues, provided an overnight stay for homeless veterans and sent pampering certificates to loved ones of soldiers currently deployed overseas. We continue to help our local guard unit when there is a need. All of this is made possible with the continuous support of our local community.
