1 arrested after robbery in progress reported

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jeromy Eugene Dann, 34, after a robbery in progress was reported at 3:35 a.m. Sunday at 103 E. Front St., Hayward. Initial reports indicated that at least one suspect had a sledgehammer.

1 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Demetrous Russell Williams, 26, for domestic assault at 9:25 p.m. Sunday at 616 James Ave.

1 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Dakota James Keithley, 24, for fifth-degree possession, third-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after revocation during a traffic stop at 2:11 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Main Street and Morningside Road.

Thefts, burglaries reported

Police cited Roxy Ann Wacek, 59, for theft after a theft was reported at 3:21 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

Theft by fraud with a loss of $4,600 was reported at 9:56 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway.

Four to five storage units were reported broken into and items were all over the place at 3:48 p.m. Saturday on the 100-block of Northeast First Street, Clarks Grove. 

A front door was smashed and a cooler door open at 5:42 a.m. Saturday at Conger Meat Market, 100 Williams Ave.

A theft was reported at 1:46 p.m. Saturday at 214 Hillcrest Drive, Clarks Grove. The incident allegedly occurred the night before.

A broken window on a residence was reported at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 17098 830th Ave. outside Glenville. Entry was allegedly made. The house was reportedly a mess, and boxes were gone through.

A burglary was reported at 8:34 p.m. Saturday at 340 SW. First Ave., Glenville. An air compressor was allegedly taken, and a screen was cut. The suspects tried to take a snowblower.

A check forged on an account was reported at 2:07 p.m. Friday at Kwik Trip, 2611 Bridge Ave.

A cellphone and other items were reported taken at 10:47 a.m. Saturday at Countryside Inn Motel, 2102 E. Main St.

A person reported being scammed out of money at 12:36 p.m. Saturday at 411 S. Broadway.

An attempted break-in of a pop machine was reported at 1:26 p.m. Saturday at Shell Rapid Lube, 2307 Bridge Ave.

A purse was reported stolen at 8 p.m. Saturday at 142 Bridge Ave.

5 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested Weston William Zuehl on local warrants during a traffic stop at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Southwest Second Avenue, Glenville.

Police arrested Jamie John Kujak, 28, on local warrants and possessing a dangerous weapon, brass knuckles, during a traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Broadway and West Ninth Street.

Juan Antonio Vazquez Cruz, 27, turned himself in on a local warrant at 4:19 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway.

Deputies arrested Michael Alexander James Camp, 23, on two warrants at 6:28 p.m. Saturday at 207 Independence Ave., Clarks Grove.

Jesse Alan Manuel, 28, turned himself in on a local warrant at 3:50 a.m. today at 411 S. Broadway.

Terroristic threats reported

Terroristic threats were reported at 11:47 a.m. Sunday on the 100 block of Northwest Second Avenue, Glenville.
