1 arrested in traffic stop
Police arrested Daniel Lee Maine, 42, for fraudulently using license plates, having no Minnesota driver’s license and fifth-degree controlled substance possession during a traffic stop at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of James Avenue and East Seventh Street.
2 arrested on warrants
A juvenile reportedly turned himself in on a warrant at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway.
Police arrested Gary Wyman Kostohryz, 30, on a local warrant at 3:39 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Newton Avenue and East Second Street.
Thefts reported
Albert Lea police arrested David Allen Villerreal, 34, and Heather Marie Krumrie, 28, after a theft was reported at 9:57 a.m. Tuesday at Dollar General, 201 W. Main St. Villerreal was charged with driving after revocation, possessing a small amount of marijuana and fifth-degree meth possession.
A theft was reported at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday at 1100 S. Broadway.
Checks were allegedly continuing to come in on a closed account at 8:31 p.m. Tuesday at United Employees Credit Union, 430 Bridge Ave.
Possible credit card fraud was reported at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday at 730 Bridge Ave.
