1st quarter hole too deep for Lake Mills

A 21-point first quarter put North Union in the driver’s seat for the rest of the night against Lake Mills in boys’ basketball Tuesday night.
North Union used its hot start to take down Lake Mills, 66-56.
Just five players scored for the Bulldogs, with Luke Groe leading the way with 18 points. Trevor Hanna had 15 points, and Jacob Langebau had 10 rebounds and nine points.
The loss dropped Lake Mills to 10-7 overall and 6-7 in the Top of Iowa Conference.
It will travel to Buffalo Center to play North Iowa on Friday.
