1 in custody for theft

A woman was reported in custody for theft at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday at Shopko, 2708 Bridge Ave. The woman was cited, booked and released.

4 arrested on warrants

Albert Lea police arrested Eric Paul Mathison, 41, on a South Dakota warrant and local charges during a traffic stop at 1:06 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue. At the scene, police cited Mathison for possessing drug paraphernalia and having no insurance. Mathison was held for bail.

Police arrested Higenio Conception Madrigal, 51, on a local warrant at 10:57 a.m. Tuesday at 408 S. Broadway.

Police arrested Rio Santiago Acosta, 19, on a warrant after a harassment/stalking complaint was made at 8:53 p.m. Tuesday at 1503 Frank Hall Drive.

Police arrested Sashy Martinez, 31, on an Austin Police Department warrant after a civil dispute was reported at 4:46 a.m. today in Albert Lea.

Tools missing

Tools were reported missing from the back of a truck at 1:29 p.m. Tuesday at 85247 South Island Circle, Hollandale.

Burglary reports made

A Playstation 4 was reported stolen at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday at 811 Water St. The item was stolen after a suspect allegedly broke into a property.

A car was reported broken into and a window smashed at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday at 1005 St. Jacob Ave. A link bolt was thrown into a window.

Burglary reports were made at 2:11 and 2:14 p.m. Tuesday in the Clarks Grove area.
