A.L. wrestling suffers 2 defeats in Ellsworth

It was an unusual weekend for the Albert Lea wrestling team.
The Tigers suffered two losses to Ellsworth, Wisconsin, and Simley High School on Saturday.
Albert Lea fell to Ellsworth by a score of 44-14 and Simley by a score of 46-18.
Against Ellsworth, Nic Cantu, Jake Johnsrud, Brody Nielsen, Garrett Aldrich and Zach Glazier earned victories, but no falls for the Tigers.
In its match against Simley, Cantu, Nielsen, Aldrich and Glazier earned victories again, with Nielsen earning the only fall of the match for the Tigers.
Albert Lea will be on the road Thursday night when it faces Rochester John Marshall.
