Thursday night was just another night on the mat for the Albert Lea wrestling team.

The Tigers hosted the Northfield Raiders in a Big Nine Conference showdown, but it was far from competitive.

Albert Lea won 11 of the 14 matches to win 55-11.

Caleb Talamantes, Nic Cantu and Trent Johnston all won decisions.

Garrett Aldrich and Zach Glazier won by technical fall.

Tanner Palmer, Jesse Hernandez, Brady Nielsen, Brody Nielsen and Jake Johnsrud won by fall.

Riet Lony won by forfeit.

Albert Lea still has only one loss in the conference — Owatonna — but has beaten Northfield, Rochester Century, Mankato West and Faribault to move to 4-1.

Albert Lea has five regular season matches left in the Big Nine Conference.

It will be in Ellsworth, Wisconsin on Saturday for a triangular.
