Maddie Wagner and Betsy Schoenrock combined for 40 points and 25 rebounds and the NRHEG girls’ basketball team escaped Maple River with a 59-55 victory.

“Sometimes games don’t go exactly how we planned,” Panthers coach Onika Peterson said. “We are happy to get the win.”

Wagner scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Schoenrock finished with 20 and 14, and now the Panthers have a five-game winning streak.

NRHEG will play Friday at against Medford.
