Early deficit sinks G-E

Grand Meadow jumped out to a 20-2 lead and never looked back Friday night against Glenville-Emmons.

The Meadowlarks ended up winning the game 65-25.

Grand Meadow led 32-7 at halftime, and while Glenville-Emmons played better in the second half, it wasn’t nearly enough.

Payton Cech scored 12 points and had four assists for the Wolverines. Teammates Chloe Anderson and Daniela Rizo had five and four points, respectively.

Grand Meadow was led by Skyler Cotten’s 14 points.

Glenville-Emmons sits at 0-9 on the year and will travel to play Alden-Conger on Monday.
