Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am a senior.

Q: What town do you live in, and which school do you attend?

A: I live in Lake Mills and attend Lake Mills Community School.

Q: Who is your immediate family?

A: In my house are: Justin and Jamie, my parents; and Jade and Jessa, my two younger sisters.

Q: Which sports do you play?

A: I ran track my freshman year, played golf my sophomore and junior year, softball my eighth-grade year through my sophomore year, volleyball my freshman through junior year, and am currently in my fourth year of basketball.

Q: What is your favorite part of basketball?

A: My favorite part of basketball is always having something there as a positive outlet, having fun on the court with whoever is on the court with me and playing with my sisters.

Q: What has basketball taught you?

A: Basketball has taught me much more than just the skills. It has taught me responsibility, time management, commitment, communication, maintaining stable relationships and learning to keep going when the circumstances are not in your favor.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: My favorite sports memory is all of it because I have been blessed with the ability and opportunity to compete.

Q: How did you get started in basketball?

A: When I was born my mother, Jamie, was really into athletics. Ever since I can remember I have been playing with a ball and running. My mother coached basketball, softball and volleyball until I reached high school, so I was very involved with the basketball atmosphere.

Q: What sports did your family members play?

A: Justin, my father, was excellent at trap and clay shooting with numerous trophies to prove it. Jamie, my mother, was an all around athlete in all sports, but excelled in volleyball as a setter and in basketball. Both of my sisters, Jade (11th grade) and Jessa (9th grade), are currently in high school and in all the sports they are able to be involved with.

Q: What are your sports-related achievements?

A: My sports-related achievements are conference champion in the two-mile my freshman year, conference honorable mention for volleyball my junior year, conference honorable mention for basketball my junior year and other mentions.

Q: What are your sports-related goals?

A: My only goal with sports is to have fun and give my best effort I am able to contribute.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?

A: Personally, I do not watch professional athletes often so I do not have a favorite professional athlete.

Q: What are your college plans? Major?

A: I am currently undecided on where I will be attending college, but I am planning on going into nursing.

Q: What is your favorite school subject?

A: My favorite school subject is accounting this semester.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher?

A: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Casey Kohagen.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: My hobbies include: watching scary movies, swimming with Laura, fishing with my dad, shopping with my mom and just going on random adventures with my sisters.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: My dream job is to be a pediatrician.

Q: What is your favorite TV show?

A: My favorite TV shows are “NCIS,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “One Tree Hill.”

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?

A: An interesting fact about me is that I have seven adopted aunts from India relatively close in age to me.
