Two quarters was all it took for North Butler to get past Northwood-Kensett in boys’ basketball on Monday night.

In the second and third quarters, North Butler outscored the Vikings 47-9 and it helped propel the visitors to a 64-26 win.

The Vikings scored two points in the third quarter and didn’t reach double-figure scoring in any quarter in the game.

Tom Fick scored six points to lead the Vikings. Colton Moretz, Josh Fick and Josh Jaspers each had four points.

Northwood-Kensett is 1-13 on the season and will play on Friday in Mason City against Newman Catholic.
