Classes at Northwood-Kensett Community School District and Lake Mills Community School have been canceled, and classes will begin two hours late at Glenville-Emmons School.

The delay comes after freezing rain is causing area roads to be slippery.

Snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet, is expected to continue before 2 p.m., with a chance of snow to follow between 2 and 5 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
