1 arrested for domestic assault, meth

Police arrested Wesley John Brandt, 28, for domestic assault and fifth-degree meth possession after a domestic incident was reported at 3:22 p.m. Tuesday at 616 James Ave.

2 arrested on warrants

Police reportedly arrested Tara Marie Saltou-Olson, 20, on a Steele County warrant at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday at 262 S. Pearl Ave. 

Dylan James Kroupa, 23, turned himself in on a local warrant at 4:08 a.m. today at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Money missing

A resident reportedly had $120 missing at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday at 901 Luther Place.

Burglaries, damage reported

A burglary was reported at 9:26 a.m. Tuesday at 78287 Minnesota Highway 251, outside Clarks Grove. Buildings were reported ransacked and items missing. The burglary allegedly occurred Monday. 

A male described as white and wearing a blue hat and blue coat allegedly took two $40 scratch-off tickets at 5:52 a.m. today at 2222 E. Main St.

Signs on Ermina Avenue reportedly had pellet gun damage at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday at 205 N. Ermina Ave.

Vulnerable adult investigation reported

A resident accused a staff member of hitting her and leaving a bruise at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday in Albert Lea. It is unclear where the alleged incident occurred.
