2 A.L. swimmers win events in loss to Northfield

The Albert Lea boys’ swimming and diving team traveled to Northfield for a meet on Thursday night.
The Tigers had some impressive individual performances, but it still wasn’t enough to top the Raiders as they fell 96-62.
Aaron Zogg swam a season-best to win the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.54. Alec Wendelboe came in third place in the event with a time of 1:15.82.
William Taylor dropped a total of 12 seconds and won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:45.39.
Albert Lea will compete in the Big Nine Conference meet on Friday and Saturday.
