There is a first time for every thing.

Albert Lea basketball will be having its first ever hoop-a-thon on March 10 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m..

This is an opportunity for any Albert Lea basketball player to shoot 100 or more free throws for 45 minutes straight. All Tiger basketball players will be shooting together to raise money for new high school uniforms.

Grades 3-8 will shoot from 6:15 -7 p.m. followed by players in grades 9-12 from 7-7:45 p.m.

The event will take place at Orrie Jirele Gymnasium.

Money or checks are accepted. Please make check payable to ALBB Boosters.

Donations can be made at one time or per made free throw.
