AAUW to host montly meeting

The American Association of University Women meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center green room.
The topic of the meeting will be “Building our Future Workforce: The Youth Apprentice Model” presented by Val Kvale.
Kvale has worked at Workforce Development Inc. since 2000 and is the placement specialist for Freeborn County.
According to a press release, Kvale graduated from Minnesota State University — Mankato, with a teaching degree in English. She taught high school English in St. Clair.
She has lived in Freeborn County for over 30 years and worked previously for Albert Lea Community Education/Head Start and Semcac.
Kvale is a licensed social worker and a global career development facilitator. Kvale is the community coordinator for the Youth Apprenticeship Program.
