An injury traffic crash was reported at 5:10 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Fountain Street and Park Avenue. More information was not available at press time.
4 arrested for drunken driving
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Douglas Everett Olson, 45, for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 10:12 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Main Street and Pillsbury Avenue.
Deputies arrested Shian Marie King, 18, for third-degree DWI, underage drinking, speeding by going 85 mph in a 55 mph zone, reckless driving and driver allowing an open bottle during a traffic stop at 10:51 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Freeborn County roads 46 and 38. At the scene, deputies cited Macey Sue Johnson, 22, for an open container violation.
Police arrested Dyllan Alan Engebretson, 23, for fourth-degree DWI, having a .08 blood alcohol content in two hours, fleeing police by means other than a motor vehicle and speeding greater than reasonable during a traffic stop at 1:56 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and West William Street.
Police arrested Addison Joseph Thomas, 23, for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 2:02 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Fountain Street and North Second Avenue.
6 arrested on warrants
Deputies arrested Bradley Steven Wilkerson, 27, on a local warrant at 7:49 p.m. Saturday at 101 W. Main St., Glenville.
Police arrested Ramon Chavez Barnett, 61, on a local warrant and for gross misdemeanor driving after revocation during a traffic stop at 5:44 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Bridge Street and Richway Drive.
Police arrested Shannon Nicole Henderson, 30, on a warrant at 6:54 p.m. Saturday at 2154 Grand Ave.
Police arrested Michael James Smith, 44, on warrants at 9:04 p.m. Saturday at 9:04 p.m. Saturday at 711 Larrimore Circle.
Police arrested Brandon Jeffrey Wertish, 28, on a local warrant at 9:26 p.m. Saturday at 1329 Margaretha Ave.
Jamie Duane Mead, 28, turned himself in on a warrant at 4:35 a.m. today at 411 S. Broadway.
1 arrested for domestic assault
Albert Lea police arrested Nathan James Buchli, 34, for domestic assault and domestic assault by strangulation after a domestic incident was reported at 2:18 a.m. Saturday at 529 Euclid Ave.
Thefts reported
Police cited a juvenile for misdemeanor theft after a pair of headphones were reported taken at 3:49 p.m. Sunday at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave.
Items were reported missing at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane. Footage was captured of the incident.
Items were reported stolen from a house at 8:20 p.m. Saturday at 66045 160th St., outside Alden.
A theft from a garage was reported at 4:21 p.m. Friday at 1206 E. 18th St.
Shoplifting was reported at 6:28 p.m. Friday at Dollar General, 201 W. Main St.
A fraudulent return was reported at 9:25 p.m. Friday at Hy-Vee, 2708 Bridge Ave. The suspect allegedly walked out with the merchandise.
A counterfeit $5 was reported at 10:54 p.m. Saturday at The Nasty Habit, 134 W. William St.
Assault reported
An assault was reported at 12:38 a.m. Sunday at 2306 E. Main St.
