The Albert Lea boys’ hockey team fell to Rochester Lourdes, 6-3.

The Tigers fell behind 3-0 after two periods, but struck for three goals in the third period.

Down 4-0, Michael Savelkoul scored for the Tigers with assists coming from Sam Chalmers and Austin Dulitz. Moments later, Dawson Lutrell scored on pass from Alex Goodmanson and Alex Ulve.

Up 4-2, Lourdes got a goal from Kyle Hickey. Albert Lea’s Ulve scored the final goal of the game for the Tigers.

Ed Caples had two goals for Lourdes.

Albert Lea goalie Ben Witham made 33 saves in the loss.

The Tigers are now 8-11-1 on the season and will host Mankato East on Thursday.
