Albert Lea police arrested Robert Charles Atkinson, 44, for first-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree test refusal, gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation, obstructing with force and driving without headlights during a traffic stop at 7:40 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and East William Street.

1 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Tyler Scott Boyum, 29, for misdemeanor domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 3:26 p.m. Saturday at 1330 Crestview Road.

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Dominic Francis Sargent, 22, on two local warrants at 11:31 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of South Washington Avenue.

1 transported after crash

Leann Marie Volsen, 54, of Wells, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with a possible injury after a crash was reported at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at 2222 E. Main St.

Criminal damage and thefts reported

Criminal damage and a theft was reported at 10:10 a.m. Friday at 2200 Riverland Drive.

Two forged checks were reported at 6:15 p.m. Friday at 220 E. William St. One check was allegedly altered.

A backdoor and kitchen window were reported shot with a BB gun at 10:58 p.m. Friday at 209 S. Ermina Ave.

A theft was reported at 2:21 p.m. Sunday at 2315 Leland Drive.
