7 vehicle break-ins reported
A number of vehicle break-ins, damage reported on Tuesday:
A window was broken on a 2016 Ford Edge at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday a 405 E. William St. A purse, credit cards and cellphone were reported stolen.
A truck was broken into, an iPhone S5 stolen and the driver’s window broken at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at 900 Hammer Road. Damage was estimated at $700.
A truck was broken into at 5:18 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of St. Thomas Ave. Items were missing.
Graffiti writing on the side of a car was reported at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday at 504 James Ave.
A back window of a Kia Sorento was broken out and items thrown on the ground and missing at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of St. Thomas Ave.
Two passenger-side tires were reported flattened at 6:06 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of St. Thomas Ave.
A passenger-side window was smashed and an iPod, radio transmitter, car chargers and a backpack were missing from a 1999 Ford Windstar at 7:49 p.m. Tuesday at 2344 Hendrickson Road.
Albert Lea police advised keeping nothing of value inside a parked vehicle. Police reported that at least one suspect could be traveling in a red or maroon four-door passenger car with a spoiler and loud exhaust. Anyone who sees suspicious activity is advised to immediately call 911.

for drugs
Police arrested Tanya Dee Anderson, 39, for fifth-degree gross misdemeanor drug possession and controlled substance driving while intoxicated after a careless driving complaint was made at 8:33 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and Edgewater Park. At the scene, police arrested Sarah Marie Segura, 21, for fifth-degree drug possession.

on warrants
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Anthony Jerome Woodraska on a Faribault County warrant at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday at 16045 650th Ave., outside Alden.
Police arrested Shannon Troy Lee, 46, on a local warrant at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday at 1030 S. Newton Ave.
Thefts reported
At least one juvenile was cited for theft after a theft was reported at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday at 2000 Tiger Lane.
About $15,000 in bad checks were reported at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at 308 W. Front St. A suspect was identified.
Power
tools stolen
Power tools were reported stolen from the back seat of a truck at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday at 101 N.E. First Ave., Geneva. The theft likely took place in Albert Lea.
