Albert Lea Community Theatre auditions will be at 7 p.m. March 26 and 27 for the comedy “Nana’s Naughty Knickers” at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, 147 N. Broadway in Albert Lea, according to a press release.

Directed by Brian Mattson, eight performances of the comedy are scheduled for May 11−20. There are three male and five female acting roles of various adult ages in the show. Those auditioning should be prepared to read from the script. Rehearsals will be scheduled weeknights, with some weekend involvement closer to the performance dates.

In the play, the character Bridget and her grandmother are about to become roommates. However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite “nana” in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget. It seems her sweet grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling handmade naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five-borough area.
