Jury finds Albert Lea man not guilty of abuse

An Albert Lea man charged in Winnebago County District Court with having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl in 2014 was found not guilty by a jury on Monday.

Jamie John Kujak, 28, was found not guilty of two counts of third-degree sexual abuse. One count of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of lascivious acts with a child were dismissed. His trial began Feb. 22.

Kujak was accused of having sexual intercourse with the 13-year-old in the basement of a Lake Mills home.
