Learning balance through art

One of the standards in fifth-grade art is, “I can create artwork that demonstrates a type of balance (radial, symmetrical, asymmetrical).” Fifth-graders at Halverson Elementary School learned new ways of folding and layering pieces of colored paper to create a radial relief piece of art.
