Roundtable planned

The next Civil War Roundtable meeting will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Faribault Senior Center, 19 Division St. W in Faribault.
According to a press release, Larry Ahlman will present the topic of “What did Oliver Winchester have to do with the Civil War?” Ahlman is president of Ahlman Guns Inc. — a full-service firearms repair center in Minnesota. Ahlman has over 50 years experience repairing and servicing firearms. He invented numerous gun devices and systems and is a promoter of various shooting events. He is founder of Shooters Roundup — an annual event that introduces people to the shooting sports. He has authored four firearms-related books and has published dozens of articles in gun and conservation magazines.
There will be treats and decaffeinated coffee with a question and answer session after the presentation. The meeting is free and open to the public.
