Bethany Troutner and Kyle Froehlich announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Sid and the late Sue Troutner of Albert Lea. She is a graduate of Albert Lea High School and of Minnesota State University-Mankato.  At MSU, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a teacher by Maple River School District and at Minnesota State University as the head coach of the athletic cheer team.

The groom is the son of Dan and Connie Froehlich of St. Clair and the grandson of Evelyn Buecksler of Mankato. He is a graduate of St. Clair High School and of Minnesota State University-Mankato. At MSU, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in law enforcement. He is employed with the state of Minnesota.

The couple is planning a May wedding at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato.
