Memorial services for LaVonne Kuchera, 90, of Albert Lea will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Shane Koepke will officiate. LaVonne died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Community in Albert Lea.

LaVonne Virginia Kuchera was born March 21, 1927, in Maple Island to Howard Daniel Feuerhelm and Eva Pearl (Giles) Feuerhelm. She attended school in Albert Lea. She liked sports, especially bowling and golf. LaVonne enjoyed eating out with friends, playing cards and going to the Senior Center for bingo. She spent her time doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles and embroidering tablecloths and giving them away as gifts.

She is survived by special family friends Coreen Johnson, Laura (Mickey) Wolf and Dustin (Emily) Gonzales and their daughter, Sophia; cousin, Larry Weigel; nephew, David Feuerhelm; nieces Connie (Denis) Fink, Lori Sorensen, Jill (Mike) Westney and Judy (Rick) Indrelie; and many cousins.

LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wayne, and his wfie, Alice; and several aunts and uncles.
