Albert Lea police arrested Justin Bryan Bolland, 36, for second-degree driving while intoxicated and criminal vehicular operation after a careless driving complaint was made at 9:23 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue. Bollard was arrested for allegedly rear-ending a Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.

Police arrested Ashley Ysabelle Lopez, 30, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, criminal vehicular operation and leaving the scene of an accident after an injury traffic crash was reported at 10:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and Sunset Street. Additional information was not available at press time.

Police arrested Nicholas Curtis Walther, 22, for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 2:15 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Main Street and South First Avenue.

1 arrested for drug violations

Deputies arrested Nena Marie Hardy, 20, for felony fifth-degree cocaine possession, misdemeanor hypodermic needles possession and a Mower County apprehension and detention order  at 10:50 p.m. Friday at 204 Main St., Myrtle.

2 arrested, cited for theft

Albert Lea police cited William Edward Scheler, 24, for misdemeanor theft at 4:37 p.m. Saturday at 2610 Bridge Ave. Scheler was arrested after allegedly stealing a shirt with a value of $19.99.

Police arrested Jerome Jesus Duenes, 29, for theft and fifth-degree drug possession at 1:22 p.m. Sunday at 1550 Blake Ave. Duenes was arrested later that day for a domestic incident that occurred earlier in the day.

Police arrested Brittany Mae Walk, 28, for an alleged harassment restraining order violation at 5:55 p.m. Sunday at 802 Harding Ave.

4 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested William Michael Oleson Jr., 30, on a local warrant during a traffic stop at 7:48 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 750th Avenue and 165th Street, outside Albert Lea.

Police arrested one person on a local warrant after an arrest warrant execution was reported at 2:46 p.m. Friday at 2000 Tiger Lane. The name of the person was not listed on police records.

Police arrested Jordon Allen VanRyswyk, 29, on a local warrant at 8:19 p.m. Saturday at 117 Adams Ave.

Dereck Anthony Samudio, 20, turned himself in on a local warrant at 3:36 a.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

A child abuse/neglect report was made at 11:27 a.m. Friday at 522 W. College St.

Fights reported

A woman was injured from a fight  at 1:43 a.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St.

A fight was reported at 12:51 a.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave. The fight allegedly occurred earlier the previous night.
